Black Summit Joy Workshop Replay with Danielle Washington
I recently came back from a wonderful nature-filled trip to South Africa and Namibia. The trip lit me up and inspired me to share this throwback presentation from Danielle. The way she expresses what travel does for her spirit resonates deeply with me and since this was recorded early pandemic she also gives wonderful suggestions for capturing the energy that travel can give you even when you are homebound. Saving relaxation for once or twice a year is not enough. I love the idea of blocking off restorative time for staycations throughout the year.

About This Talk
Travel is one of the best forms of self-care and can feel like therapy. However, what happens when you can’t get away because of a pandemic or finances, but you really need to push pause on life to breathe and recharge your soul? Staycations can be that bridge until you are able to travel. If planned right, staycations can transform your home into a travel experience that teleports you to another place mentally and physically.
In this session, you will discover why travel should be a part of your self-care routine and how to create a staycation that will rival your real vacations and bring joy back into your life. Are you ready to get away?
